Sanjaya Malakar was a huge fan favorite, who recently got voted off of American Idol. Is he talented? I’ve refused to watch any episode from this past season, so I can’t personally judge him. But he did make it onto the show so apparently Simon, Randy, and Paula thought he had some talent otherwise he wouldn’t have made the initial cut.
Davistiger is a huge fan favorite on D&L. His vocals rival that of any current or former contestant on American Idol. He hasn’t given me any permission to release his demo tapes on D&L, but when he finally relents, the world will be able to listen to sensual goodness that is Tonjaya.
You know it…
Slate has an interesting article. It compares the 2008 U.S. Presidential nominees as if they were corporations:
Hillary Clinton: General Electric
Barack Obama: Google
John Edwards: Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
Bill Richardson: Univision
Rudy Giuliani: Halliburton
John McCain: General Motors
Mitt Romney: Citigroup
Tommy Thompson: Zions Bancorp
Compared to a struggling U.S. automaker doesn’t instill too much confidence in McCain. There’s a 90% chance that I’ll vote for McCain, but depending on how much momentum Clinton has, it might be tough to not vote for her in order to get a Democrat in the office. She also said Bill will play a big role for her if she was elected.
