This is kind of a late — very late — post but I think I really wanted to comment on it. This weekend held two cool sporting events: the WTA Bank Of The West tournament and the 2007 MLB Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony.

Babylon 5 — The Lost Tales (2007)
Anyone who considers themselves a science fiction buff has to have watched all five seasons of Babylon 5 and the many television movies that were produced to complement the complex storylines that creator J. Michael Straczynski envisioned for the show.
Matt White — Best Days (2007)
The singer/songwriter used to be a dying breed. Matt White might be able to add his name to the current generation that includes Howie Day, John Mayer and Gavin DeGraw. Hailing from New Jersey, Matt has music in his blood, with piano and violin-playing parents and a former jazz orchestra leader grandmother.
Monster Squad Is Finally On DVD
At long last, this really funny, yet campy pseudo horror movie is finally available as a two-disc DVD — all 82 minutes of it!
Benzos — Branches (2007)
The sophomore effort for the Benzos second album Branches, is full of depression and gloom, and yet the band manages never to cross that boundary into emo territory like so many other bands before them. I guess coming from New York lets them experience that expansive tough view of the world without completely losing one’s emotional fortitude.

Lastings Milledge Is On Fire
After going 0–4 in every game of the July 16–18 series against the San Diego Padres which brought his batting average to an embarrassingly low .133, New York Mets OF Lastings Milledge went on a four game multihit streak. His average jumped to .283 and his OPS skyrocketed from .423 to .798 after hitting two doubles and a home run during that span.
