The most intrigu­ing facet of The Haz­ards Of Love is that it still has The Decem­berists’ sound even with the extended doses of metal and prog rock. That might turn off some, which shouldn’t because it still sounds great.

Last.fm Boffin Is At Best Interesting

A few weeks ago, Last.fm announced a beta of Bof­fin [0.0.4 released] that acts as a Last.fm radio ser­vice with your per­sonal music col­lec­tion. It was an inter­est­ing con­cept which I have finally had the oppor­tu­nity to try. It only works with mp3s so I had to use it at work (which is a Win­dows com­puter unfortunately).

Blender Is Online Only

As of 26 March 2009, Blender is going online only with its mag­a­zine. The April 2009 issue with Kelly Clark­son on the cover will be the last print issue.
