I try not to get caught up in all of these analytics stuff with regard to web stats and such. A lot of the time, that kind of talk is just gratification for how much traffic some sites get. For a smaller site like D&L, though it is interesting to see and track growth.

I went to another concert at Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco last night. I wanted to go to the Band of Horses concert at the Fillmore but alas it was sold out. K-Fan’s favorite venue is Cafe Du Nord and he wanted to check it out. It happened to be the 7th Annual Turkey Trot which showcases some Americana bands.

Last night’s concert at Cafe Du Nord was pretty good. For some odd reason there was a huge line to get into the club. Usually the line is nonexistent, but I guess many people were like K-Fan and me and bought our tickets online and held them at Will Call.

The concert last night was good. I went with K-Fan to see Margot & The Nuclear So And So’s at the Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco. It was a late concert, starting at 9:30 pm. I wish it was earlier only for the fact that BART’s last train from SF to Berkeley was 12:15 am. So with a late showtime, getting on that last train would be pushing it close.

K-Fan and I hit up SF on Monday night (10/30/06). We attended a Jenny Lewis concert. It was awesome. She was accompanied by The Watson Twins. The funny thing was that the opening act was surprisingly good, although I don’t think anyone at the Fillmore caught the band’s name. I asked a bunch of people and no one knew. BTW, the belly of the lead singer is hypnotic. *Update - The opening band is Benji Hughes.
