Pet Peeve: Improperly Returned Shopping Carts

I was at Costco earlier tonight, and in the section of the parking lot I turned in to must have had several shopping carts strewn about in every other parking space.

Pet Peeve Cinq: Drivers Without Headlights

Idiotic drivers drive me crazy. For the most part, I can tolerate those insane drivers who cut through lanes left and right without signaling. I’m okay with them mostly because for some reason they never really seem to disrupt the traffic flow. They weave in and out of lanes without any other car even tapping their brakes. So, as long as they don’t pressure me to get out of their way, I’m cool with it.

Pet Peeve Numero Quatre

People who talk to you using their SAT vocabulary or other words that pretty much have absolutely no business in spoken language other than to make other people feel stupid. I can’t think of any example at the top of my head, but it does irritate the crap out of me when people do this.

Pet Peeve Numero Tois

In my opinion, meteorologists aren’t the smartest people in the room. That being said, people who repeat meteorologists’ weather forecasts probably aren’t the smartest people in the room either.
