I Both Love + Hate Star Trek

Star Trek: D.A.C.

Star Trek: D.A.C. won’t be a simple retelling and replaying of the J.J. Abrams-directed reboot Star Trek that comes out May 8 (which I can’t wait for). It looks to be more along the lines of Starfleet Command than anything else.

New Star Trek Cast: Pine + Quinto = Kirk + Spock

After Heroes’s Zachary Quinto was cast as Spock, it was only a matter of time before a new Kirk would be announced. And now you have it. Chris Pine will play the legendary captain. Looking at Pine’s resume, I can honestly the only thing I have seen him in was probably that ER episode and hell’d if I remember who he was.

WonderCon 2006

Another WonderCon has come and passed and this year I was joined by Rlyconfused and Jinamina. I enjoyed myself and I think they did too. Too bad Andy didn’t come. He might have had fun too. We saw panels by J.J. Abrams and Bryan Singer. They were surprisingly very candid and friendly. Singer even brought out his special guest – Brandon Routh.
