Star Trek: D.A.C.

Star Trek: D.A.C. won’t be a sim­ple retelling and replay­ing of the J.J. Abrams-directed reboot Star Trek that comes out May 8 (which I can’t wait for). It looks to be more along the lines of Starfleet Com­mand than any­thing else.

New Star Trek Cast: Pine + Quinto = Kirk + Spock

After Heroes’s Zachary Quinto was cast as Spock, it was only a mat­ter of time before a new Kirk would be announced. And now you have it. Chris Pine will play the leg­endary cap­tain. Look­ing at Pine’s resume, I can hon­estly the only thing I have seen him in was prob­a­bly that ER episode and hell’d if I remem­ber who he was.

WonderCon 2006

Another Won­der­Con has come and passed and this year I was joined by Rly­con­fused and Jinam­ina. I enjoyed myself and I think they did too. Too bad Andy didn’t come. He might have had fun too. We saw pan­els by J.J. Abrams and Bryan Singer. They were sur­pris­ingly very can­did and friendly. Singer even brought out his spe­cial guest — Bran­don Routh.
