These are some WTA players to watch for at the 2008 French Open. ESPN.com had something like this up, which I can’t find the link to. That article had more in-depth tennis coverage, while mine just has mostly pictures. Please note, some have (to our regret) have already been knocked out of the Grand Slam as of this posting.

The last tennis Grand Slam of 2007 is finally upon us, and almost over. I’m surprised I haven’t blogged about this yet, but I finally got some free time this Labor Day weekend to watch some action. The women’s field is a lot more diverse than in years past.

The one good thing about all the rain during the French Open is that the programming department is showing earlier matches that I missed. I caught the secound round match between Venus Williams and the REALLY cute Ashley Harkleroad.
