This wouldn’t be a reliable indicator of indie success, but El Perro Del Mar’s third LP Love Is Not Pop was reviewed in The Modesto Bee on 12 November 2009.

Sure, the Bee simply reprinted a review from The Philadelphia Inquirer, but it’s a start for the very good Swedish singer-songwriter to be featured in the San Joaquin Valley city.
