J.J. Abrams’ reboot of Star Trek is awe­some. Despite that love, I hate it too, for it is more of a reboot that I would have liked…

That said, action per­me­ates the entire movie, and the entire cast from Chris Pine (who makes an excel­lent James T. Kirk) to the lovely Zoe Sal­dana couldn’t be better.

I yearn for the sequel.
